Mr Badawi was born in Egypt and holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering. He’s currently the Managing Director of Helm AG, Egypt representative office responsible for MEA and Gulf regions. He has 10 years of previous work experience, as a Regional Sales and Marketing Manager at Samsung Chemicals – Egypt for Engineering Plastics and as a TS&D Laboratory Manager at Dow Mideast PU systems at Dow Chemical Company.

Dr Khaled Mamour (PhD, MBA, CEng)

Post Education (PhD + MBA) in England, Khaled has filled Senior technical as well as Managerial positions within University (Sheffield University) as a post-Doctoral researcher, ALSTOM (Major Infrastructure Projects) as a Design Engineer, RENISHAW (Precision Engineering) where he started as a Senior Design Engineer to later become Global Solutions Business Development Manager, IBB (Institute of Independent Businesses) as a Senior Consultant, SHAWCOR Group ( Corrosion Protection and pipeline products and services) as Vice President, and finally AMEC Foster Wheeler as Vice President, Business Development for AFRICA.

Khaled is also a Director of the Algerian-British Business Council and the holder of 11 patents.

Following a Masters (business & Administration) from Toulouse business school and specialized masters in Finance at ESCP EAP (Paris), Anass Joundy worked in BNP Paribas and Credit Agricole in Capital markets for 2 years.

Anass joined EBRD in 2012 in the Natural Resources team as a Principal Banker, after having spent 7 years at Credit Agricole, originating and structuring financing in the MENA region.

Massimo Trani is currently Vice President for Proprietary Technology Licensing department at Eni. He is a Nuclear Engineer, with a Degree at Rome University in 1984.

Massimo is based at Eni Refining, Marketing & Chemicals headquarters in Rome. He holds the responsibility of coordination and actuation of technical aspects related to the licensing of new Eni new technologies.

Massimo has 25 years of experience in refining, and he has held various positions in Performance Analysis and Optimization, Technology, Supply Department. During the last 6 years, he has been Responsible of Eni Research and Development Downstream Labs, coordinating several new technologies development.

Abderrahim El Hafidi was honored by His Majesty the King Mohammed VI, with the National Royal Order of Merit to the Rank of Officer, in reward for services and works rendered regarding the development and implementation of the new Moroccan energy strategy and the Morocco’s renewable energy program by 2030. Mr Hafidi has an engineering background; he graduated from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Rabat and has 32 years’ experience in the field of energy and in particular electricity, natural gas, renewable energy and regulation.

He is the editor in chief of the new Moroccan energy regulatory framework regarding Renewables energies, power generation, transmission and distribution, natural gas, oil products, nuclear safety, and he currently oversees its implementation. He has spent his entire career at the Ministry in charge of Energy where he held several positions including Director of Electricity and Renewable energy, Head of Natural Gas and fossil fuels Department, head of Renewables Energies and Energy Efficiency Department, Head of energy Infrastructure and Facilities Department.

Mr. Abderrahim El Hafidi oversaw several energy projects (Power, Renewables energies, Natural gas, LPG, oil, coal fire…), animated, and represented Morocco in several events and international conferences in the fields of electricity, natural gas, oil and renewables energies. One of his greatest professional achievement is overseeing the implementation of the new Moroccan energy strategy and renewable energy projects.

Mr Abderrahim El Hafidi is currently Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment.
