Peter Seitinger joined OMV in 1988 as Petroleum Engineer. He held various technical and operational positions in the Exploration & Production Division of OMV, namely in drilling, reservoir engineering, and environmental engineering in Austria, Vietnam (HSE Superintendent and Assistant Operations Manager) and Libya (Operations Manager).

In 1999 he was assigned as Business Development and Commercial Manager of OMV in Libya, before moving 2001 to Tirana/ Albania as General Manager. In 2004 he returned to Vienna as Regional Manager for Middle East and Australia/New Zealand, then his role changed to Vice President for Business Development. In 2008 he became Vice President Central & Eastern Europe, Russia and Caspian Region for OMV Exploration & Production GmbH, while also serving as Head of International Assets for OMV Petrom S.A. (Romania) at the same time. Between April 2011 and August 2014 he has been assigned to Islamabad as General Manager of OMV Pakistan Exploration GmbH and OMV Maurice Energy Limited.

Since August 2014 Peter Seitinger has been in charge of OMV’s activities in Libya as General Manager.

Maurizio Coratella was born in 1965 and graduated in Industrial Engineering at Politecnico di Milano – Italy

He started his career in 1990 as an entrepreneur in the IT business and in 1994 joined  ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) where he occupied various positions in Italy and abroad in the Power Generation Industry.

In 1999 he joined Edison SpA and was appointed Project Manager of the first IPP built in Egypt. The power Station of Sidi Krir.

In 2002, based in Houston, he was appointed as Construction Director of the LNG Plant of IDKU Egypt.

In 2005 appointed as Executive Vice President for Projects in Edipower SpA responsible among other projects of the re-powering of 4000 MW in Italy

In 2009 appointed as General Manager in Egypt of Edison’s activities, following the 1.4 billion US dollars acquisition of Abu Qir assets.

In 2012 appointed as VP for Edison’s E&P activities for Egypt and the Middle East

In 2016 appointed as Executive Vice President for Exploration and Production

Maurizio Coratella is married and father of two children

Dr. Geoff D. Porter is the founder and president of North Africa Risk Consulting, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in political and security risk in North Africa. North Africa Risk Consulting advises multinational corporations on the political and security contexts in Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia and their impacts on the investment environments.

North Africa Risk Consulting was founded in 2010 and is located in New York.

In addition to managing North Africa Risk Consulting, Dr. Porter was an Assistant Professor at the Combating Terrorism Center at the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2013-2016. His research at West Point focused on conflict and instability and the extractive industries in North Africa and the Sahara.

Prior to establishing North Africa Risk Consulting, Dr. Porter was the Director for Middle East and Africa at a leading political risk consulting firm. In addition, he was Managing Director at a major corporate investigations and due diligence firm. Earlier in his career Dr. Porter was an assistant professor of Middle East and North Africa History at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Dr. Porter is fluent in French and Arabic (North African dialect).

Dr. Porter volunteers as an assistant coach with the U-10 New Rochelle Football Club Travel Team. He is married and the father of three sons.
